Last week, 10 Ag I students participated in the District Greenhand Workshop. The students spend the day working with the District officers learning about he different aspects and opportunities FFA offers. Robert Walker and Cameron Collins are both serving as District 15 Officers this year and and helped facilitate a workshop.

Bret Miles, NE BOCES Executive Director, stopped in at the Akron school board work session on Tuesday evening and made a surprise special presentation to Akron’s new elementary principal Kendra Anderson. Miles presented Anderson with a gavel and vase for her leadership on the BOCES superintendent advisory council this past school year.
