Good Morning Akron Elementary Families! Due to the rain we will be adjusting our morning plans. Students will meet their classroom teachers on the elementary playground. Drop off goes from 7:30-7:45. Teachers will be lined up from
preschool - 5th grade. Please keep the bus loop clear. Families can park in the main parking lot (south side of building) and the sides of the road and walk around or through the building. We would ask that the kids stay with their families and teachers and off the playground equipment to keep the area more manageable. Bus kids will be directed to their teachers. We are excited to have your kids back! We are going to have a great school year!
Storm Routes Notice
Good morning, Ram Families,
We have been fortunate to receive a great deal of rain this week, including last night. As a result, we will use our storm route stops today. Weather permitting, we plan to return to our regular routes on Thursday.Thank you for your understanding.

Elementary Back-to-School Open House!
Dear Akron Rams Family,
You may have heard about the recent tragedy that took place in Eaton over the weekend. On Saturday evening, a single vehicle accident took the lives of three recent graduates of Eaton High School and left two others injured. One of those lives lost in the accident was Cash Rinker the son of Corey Rinker a graduate of Akron High School.
The Akron School District and community sends its deepest sympathies to the Rinker family and to all those affected by this devastating loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this most difficult time.
