Our JH Lady Rams will be traveling to Haxtun on Thursday to take on the Bulldogs. Games will start at 4PM with 2 running halves of C girls, followed by B girls, and finishing the night with A Girls. Plan to be early and loud! Go Lady Rams!
The Ram's Wrestling Team has added a dual vs Yuma on Thursday, January 9 starting at 7 PM. This will also be senior and parent's night for our wrestlers. Come out and support our wrestlers! GO BLUE!
Congratulations to Rachel Lowery and all of her band and choir students. Monday night the Akron Junior High and Akron High School Band, Jazz Band, and Choir had their concert. They all did a wonderful job.
Congratulations to our Akron Ram J.H basketball boys and their coaches for winning the LPAA League Tournament held in Akron on Saturday. The Rams will host the winner of the the LPAA east division this Tuesday, December 17th at 6 p.m.

The Akron Ram wrestlers were in action on Saturday at the Limon Invitational. Gavin Brown was the lone placer for the Rams finishing in 4th place. The Rams will be competing at the Bob Smith Invitational at Wray next Saturday.

The Akron Ram basketball teams took on the Simla Cubs at home Friday night. The girls lost and the boys picked up their first win of the season. The Rams will be in action again next week on Thursday and Friday for the Akron Holiday Tournament.

The Akron boys JV picked up a win Thirsday night against Union Colony. The varsity girls won in over time and the varsity boys lost. Come out and support the Rams tonight at home against Simla starting at 4:00! 🏀

The Akron School is no longer on Lock Out protocol. The sheriff's department has notified us that the suspect is in custody in Yuma County.
Parents,
We have been notified of a threat that exists in Yuma County. As a precautionary measure we are implementing our lock out protocol which means business as usual inside our locked building. We will continue this protocol until the threat has been resolved.
HSBB season begins this Thursday in Brush at 4 PM. Both JV boys and JV girls will play at 4:00 followed by VG at 5:30 then VG at 7:00. Please be early in case we are running ahead of schedule. Come to Brush and support our RAMS! GO BLUE!
