The JH Ram football team finished their season last night with a win over the Limon Badgers. Akron played 8-man on offense, and 11-man defense. The final score was 50-12. We are proud of you, Rams! 💙🏈
Congratulations to our JH volleyball players and coaches on a successful season. The ladies played their final game at Limon last night. Akron Results: A team won in two, B team lost in three and C team lost in three.

Time correction on the HS VB games this Saturday, April 10th. The VB games vs Byers start at 1 PM not 2 PM. We are having parents night on this date which will start after the JV game. Game order is C, JV, V. We apologize for incorrect time sent out yesterday. Ram Strong!

There has been a schedule change with HS Volleyball tonight. Caliche is unable to host so Akron will now host Haxtun for a V contest tonight starting at 5 PM.
Our Adaptive Sports Team had an awesome day in Brush playing basketball against Brush and the Northeast Coyotes. A huge thanks to coaches Janea Lucero and Darin Baker along with partners Grayson Pachner, AnneLise Glosson, and Nadalyn Poss. Please enjoy the pictures of their day.

Students from our Job Skills class prepared, shopped, cooked, served, and cleaned up after the meal for Meet and Eat on March 4th. These same students and teachers will be preparing and serving another Meet and Eat lunch this Thursday, March 25th at the Akron Community Center. The meal will be served at 12 (noon) and the cost is $5. Reservations can be made by calling the senior center at 970-345-6391.
Akron Ram Zach Bowin participated in the State Spelling Bee on March 13th. The spelling bee was conducted on-line this year. Zach finished tied for 36th place out of 181 spellers across the state.
Great job Zach!
