Adaptive Basketball- Northeast Coyotes vs. Akron Rams
This afternoon’s game was a great celebration of adaptive players, parents, partners, coaches and school spirit. Thank you to the fans from all over northeast Colorado and the students who cheered these athletes on while they played on Monday.
Akron High School has two football players, Grayson Pachner and Kacyn Kessinger, selected to play in the 8-man All-State game this summer. The game will be played on Friday, July 9th at 7 p.m. at Gilpin H.S. In Blackhawk, CO. Congratulations to both Grayson and Kacyn!! We are proud of you!

3rd Grade Visits Akron Airport
After studying Aerospace, Randy Hayes, of Hayes Aviation, gave our 3rd graders a tour of the Akron Airport last Wednesday, April 14th.
The Akron Child Find event planned for today at the school has been postponed to May 7th due to the snow and adverse road conditions. Please look for more details about this event on our Facebook page and website in the weeks to come .
Due to the possibility of adverse weather conditions this evening we are postponing the bonfire and movie until another date. We will not have these Akron Strong activities after tonight's HSVB contest. Please come out and support our girls. GO BLUE!

Akron FCCLA put together swing dance classes for students in grades 6-12. Special thanks to Mollie and Ryan Drietz for the excellent instruction and FCCLA officers Gavin Brown and Katelyn Shaw for taking on this project!
Members of the senior class surprised Mr. Randel with a fun prank to start the school day on Tuesday morning.
Akron Senior Spotlight 2021
The Akron H.S. Lady Ram volleyball team improved their record to 5-5 on Saturday with a hard fought victory over the Byers Lady Bulldogs. The volleyball team has played several games in a matter of a few weeks with the condensed season.
