Virtual Learning Excellence
THANK YOU! As a school district we recently reached out for some help in purchasing 100 yard signs and other items to uniquely recognize our senior students. It took asking for some help from our Booster Club and Lions Club for those organizations and several individuals in our Akron community to step up and cover the entire cost of the signs and other items. We feel so fortunate and grateful to have the support of an amazing community that is filled with generous people. The Akron School District would like to thank the following: Akron Booster Club, Akron Lions Club, Patrick and Stephanie O’Neil, Fred and Dencia Raish, Mason and Kelly Hansen, and Derek Glosson.

STAFF APPRECIATION The Akron School District is fortunate to have a wonderful group of school leaders on the school board. Today the five members showed up for their annual staff gift presentation. Staff showed up curb-side for their gifts instead of the usual classroom visits. Thank you to our board members: Kory Kessinger, Jessica Filla-Rodriguez, Tony Claflin, Andy Molt, and Nathan Quick.
