Our current 10th and 11th grade Rams and parents attended their 2024-25 school year orientation. A big thank you to Mrs. Weers and Mrs. Houston for their presentation and opportunities they are providing our kids. It is a very exciting time to be an Akron Ram!

Akron Summer Recreational forms went home with students today and need to be returned to the school or the Town by Thursday, April 18.

The Akron Booster Club is excited to celebrate our Akron Baseball Players and their Parents. Senior and Parent Recognition Night will be on Thursday, March 28th between the varsity and junior varsity game. The varsity game starts at 3 PM so please make sure you are there between games to help our players and parents celebrate. More information is in the attached image. GO BLUE

We will implement a late start for our school day today, Monday, March 25th. School start time will be at 10 AM, with students expected to arrive starting at 9:40 AM. Bus route pick-up times will be modified to two and ten minutes later than regular pickup times. Please let your driver know if you will not be riding. Breakfast will not be served this morning. Please travel safely, and we hope to see you soon.

We will not have school today, Thursday, March 7, 2014. Spring storms are tough calls. We are under a winter storm warning that is predicting heavy snow for our area starting this morning and continuing throughout the day. Have a safe and enjoyable spring break.
School Property Closed
Dear Akron School Students, Parents and Community,
Starting sometime this Friday, March 8th through Tuesday, March 12th, access to our school property will be strictly limited due to work being done on our building and playground. The final stages of the HVAC project are underway and new equipment will be added to our playground. The playground will likely be off limits the entire week of March 11th. These are both great improvements to our facility. We wanted to make you aware of these restrictions and improvements.

The Akron Class of 2027 and STUCO members had a chance to visit with Arcie Lovato this afternoon. It was great to hear her voice and let her know our students, staff, and community is fighting with her. A huge thanks to our community members, students, and staff that contributed to the over $2000 and for the gifts to let Arcie know we will always be here for her. We are so blessed to be living in the Akron community with so many caring individuals that place others above themselves. An adding thanks to Mrs. Weers, Mrs. Woods, Mr. Schoenecker, and Mrs. Hocheder for organizing these events and making us proud to be a RAM!
