Akron Students and Families, It is with a heavy heart we share the following message. We will not be having school this Thursday, January 30th. The service for Pat O'Neil will be held in the fieldhouse on Thursday at 11 a.m. Thank you in advance for your understanding and please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

We are sending our Rams Football Team off to the CHSAA 8-Man State Championship Friday morning at 10 AM. The team will depart from the North parking lot at the Akron School. Please see the following flyer for information on the sendoff and the State Championship Game. Let's Go Blue!

Just a reminder that our FFA Hired Hand sale is tonight at the Event Center. We start serving at 5:30pm with the sale starting at 6:30pm. Please come out and support our FFA RAMS.

The Akron School District had the pleasure of hosting League Choir yesterday. Students from league school practiced throughout the day and concluded the day with a concert held in the Akron Fieldhouse. A special thanks goes out to Ms. Lowry for the time commitment taken on organizing the event. Ms. Lowry and her students represented our school district well and we are so proud of them. Great Job RAMS!

Come out and join us for our RAMS Football Pep Rally on Thursday at 3:15 in the fieldhouse. We are so proud of our boys and want to wish them the best this Saturday as they take on Sedgwick County Cougars. Please see the flyer for more information. GO BLUE!

Once again it was a humbling experience celebrating Veterans Day with our veterans, students, staff, and community. Mrs Dreitz and her FFA did a great job organizing the Veterans Day program. Thank you to everyone that helped out to make this an outstanding event. Proud to be a Ram!
