Incoming 12th grade students & parents - due to the conflict with the sports banquet on Wednesday, 5/17, 12th grade orientation will be split into two sessions.
Spring sport athletes and parents should plan to attend orientation on 5/17 at 7:00am-7:45am in Mrs. Houston's room. Please plan to use the side door by Mrs. Houston's room for the meeting.
All other students and parents should plan to attend orientation on 5/17 at 5:30pm-6:15pm in Mrs. Houston's room. Please plan to use the cafetorium doors to get to Mrs. Houston's room.
11th Grade Parents and Students, 12th Grade Orientation has been moved due to weather last night to Wednesday, May 17th, 2023 at 5:30 pm in the cafeteria. Please let us know if you have any questions

Due to the recent moisture and condition of our county roads, we will be running storm routes tomorrow, Tuesday, March 28th.

Early Release Update (3-27-23)- School busses will run regular routes leaving the school at 11:30AM.

The weather pattern and forecast has changed this morning to increased snow and wind. As a result, the Akron School will be releasing students early today at 11:30AM. We do understand that this is short notice, so if you need us to keep your student a little longer or make alternative student pick-up arrangements, please contact the school. 970-345-2268. All after school activities and practices are canceled.
*Because this is an early release and not a full snow day, we will NOT need to have school on Friday.

The Akron Rams Booster Club is sponsoring our Winter Sports Athletic Banquet in the field house on Wednesday March 22nd starting at 6:30 PM. Come out and help us support our winter athletes. Go Blue!
Dear School Bus Route Families,
Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we have worked together to transport your students to school via storm routes. Our county road workers have requested one more day to insure county roads are as safe as possible for transporting your students. As a result, we are planning to return to regular bus routes on Tuesday, March 21st. WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP AND COOPERATION. If you have areas of concern on roads near your home or conditions that would be problematic for a bus entering your residence, we need you to communicate with your route driver as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements.
