New Staff Members at Akron School District

Mrs. Woods has been teaching for three years and is from the small town of Akron, Colorado. During her senior year of high school, she helped out with summer school and that is what inspired her to go into education. Mrs. Woods also said she has too many books to pick one as her favorite. She enjoys science fiction and fantasy. She has never taught elementary before and is looking forward to the change of age and content that she will teach. She’s also excited about having no school on Friday! Fun facts about Mrs. Woods is that she attended Chadron State College and her favorite food is pizza!
