Benavidez commits to John Deere

21st Century Equipment recently hosted a signing day for Anthony Benavidez, a senior at Akron High School, to attend the John Deere Ag Tech College Program at Garden City Community College in Garden City, KS.  Benavidez is the son of James and Rachel Cline of Akron, CO.  Anthony is an active member of the AHS FFA chapter and in his free time he enjoys working in his shop fixing things and running a herd of cattle.

The John Deere Ag Tech Program is a unique alliance between John Deere Company, John Deere dealers, and various 2-year colleges across the nation. Students will graduate from the program with an Associates of Applied Science degree while also completing a cooperative work experience at a John Deere dealership.  Students gain knowledge on all aspects of John Deere products including receiving certifications in hydraulics, electrical, and Service Advisor diagnostic's software, and developing a strong understanding of the current technologies that are available on John Deere equipment.  21st Century Equipment's Ag Tech College Program provides reimbursement for up to 100% of college tuition, books, fees, room and board plus Snap-On tools and a toolbox.

Congratulations Anthony!  We are so proud of you!  GO RAMS
